
SO Delicious Social Media Campaign
In my Copywriting for Advertising class, we had a series of five copy assignments which included creating print advertising headlines, taglines and body copy; scripts for radio and television spots; and content marketing copy for social media. The assignments required brainstorming, strategizing, writing, and revising ad copy; presentation and discussion of creative work; and multiple copy critiques.

For this copy assignment, my group and I created social media advertisements for the milk brand, "SO Delicious".

INSTAGRAM STORY MOCKUPS

Rationale
Rationale for Instagram story:
Our rationale behind our Instagram story was to make it visually appealing as well as informative for the viewer.
By looking at the story the viewer can see what kind of drinks they can make with the dairy free products offered by the company.

The headline shows the name of the mixed drink in a bold font and is repeated among the three stories for different drinks to grab the attention of the viewer. The call to action is “make it SO delicious” which
encourages the viewer to make the drink using the company’s product.

Rationale for Instagram post:
Our rationale behind our Instagram post was a giveaway. “Coconut giveaway!” was our headline because it will get consumers engaged and draw more attention to our social media and potentially draw in new customers by using a trigger word (“giveaway”) to imply free things.
The three carousels inform the viewers of the giveawaydetails while also tying in the same aesthetic as our Instagram story. The caption acts as a hook by stating “Calling all dairy-free lovers!” while also informing them that these are dairy free products. Our call to action is “Enter now” so consumers act fast for a chance to enter.
